Student provides instructor with letter from Student Disabilities Office.
This letter states adjustments required for ADA student(s), e.g. additional time.

Tutorial goals
• Create ADA compliant Assessment.
• Create formula designed to select ADA students.
• Apply selection criteria formula successfully.

Step 1
Create new Assessment
Create new Assessment
• Open GAView, go to Build tab• Under Course tools, click Assessments• Click Create Assessment button• Give Title, e.g. “M1 Chapter 1b”

Create new Assessment
• Under Assessment Template• Check off “Base on existing assessment”• Click Save button

Step 2
Make adjustments to Assessment
Create new Assessment
• Go back to new Assessment• Click down arrow, select Edit Properties• On Item Visibility screen, select Show Item • Under Duration, change 20 to 40 minutes • Click Save button

Create Selection Criteria Formula
Create Selection Criteria Formula
• Click Assessments, select desired Assessment• Click down arrow of Assessment• Select Set Release Criteria• Click Add Member Criteria

• Place check mark in front of webct_demo student• Webct_demo student verifies changes in Student View• Click the Save button

• Go to Build tab, Course Tools• Click Learning Modules (LM)• Click Add Content Link, select Assessment • Click the Add Select button

• Click Save• Assessment will indicate “Conditional”

Link and Move Assessment
Link and Move Assessment
• Place check mark in front of Assessment to move• Move mouse pointer to desired location

• Go back to Build Tab• Course Content, Learning Modules (LM)• Select desired LM• Select above or below option • Click mouse to Move /Link
