Willie Henderson was born on November 21, 1945 at Cape Fear

Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina, son of the late Willie James

Henderson and Leatha Mae King Henderson.

Willie was a gifted and talented musician. He was the Lead Guitarist

for “Shep and the Lime Lights Band” in Newark, New Jersey.

He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam

War from 1966 - 1968 and was honorably discharged.

On Saturday, December 20, 2014, Willie Henderson departed this

earthly life at Kindred Care Hospital in Rahway, New Jersey at the

age of sixty-nine.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted sister, Patricia Mae

Albea and her husband, Robert of Linden, New Jersey; two nieces:

Anita Henderson and Priscilla Albea; three great-grandnephews:

Robert Henderson, Chris Neal Henderson and Jalil Rhem; great-

niece: Na’Kia Henderson; two great-great nephews: Robert

Henderson (Sharees), and Qualaliq Rhem; two uncles; four aunts;

and a host of dear relatives and friends.
