Summary of Significant Work for the day The first day of 10 week of industrial training. I came early to meet Pn Zahariah Bt Sarji, the manager of the AYM Bistari for interview and work brief. Then she shows me around the office and introduce me her workers Khalid & Amar. I have been given a work space with one desktop computer. Its use windows Millenniums Edition (Windows ME) and the software that already install are Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and Adobe Illustrator 10. 0.

Most of the day the task is all about designing an order placement for a Halal food product. The order placements contain an image of the product with its description, address and contact number.

Summary of Significant Work for the day After all artwork been evaluated, the manager wants me to repair some of my artwork. Most of her comment basically about how to make the product appearance more interesting and desirable. The product must been clean, clear and natural. That’s mean, no effect should been apply to the product such as border or stroke line. Then the background must be plain and associate with the product main theme. Overall all the design are good and she like it a lot, but some company does want any fancy design as they want simple and less colorful. So, nothing we can do about it accept to follow their desire as they are the customer and buyer.

It’s seemed that it has a low resolution color. So, I have to adjust it’ color profile and save it in high resolution. This problem probably occurs after I formatting my laptop last weekend and the software that I have install probably not complete.
