Introduction
G.A. Verdegaal & Zn. Export B.V. was founded as a grower of flower bulbs in 1917. Today the company
operates as a specialty supplier of Lily bulbs both for cut flower and pot plant production. Our activities cover
the complete chain of supply, from hybridising, bulb production, preparation and packing, through to export
account management and customer account management
Our hybridising unit was founded in 1997 and the first selections of exciting new varieties are now being
introduced to our range. Alongside these we also have an additional group of exclusive varieties that we
currently offer as well as the full commercial range.
We grow our Lily bulbs in Holland and Chile, the latter enabling us to supply fresh oriental lily bulbs through-
out the year. We export and distribute from both countries. In addition to production from our own farms we
also work with dedicated contract growers, thus providing us a broader base of supply for all our customers.
We currently export to 25 countries, with our main market focus in Italy, the UK, Kenya, Japan, China and
the U.S. Customer relations are of great importance, and we are highly dedicated to providing the very best
service to all our accounts. We offer full support in shipping, scheduling, technical inquiries, and new variety
development, to all our customers.
