- Practically impossible to check 100% work of project such as the concealed items- Very difficult to recheck the whole work in last few months. Still, we know the core areas

where the mistakes can happen by the project team- contractually and in measurements. - Recovery becomes difficult at last stage as contractors don’t agree which finally ends up

in Lumpsum settlement.

- Randomly: preferable for mid level projects by Clients- Auditing done at frequent intervals such as quarterly. - Recoveries are easier to adjust during the work in progress- Streamline the billing process over the period of time.

- Regularly: preferable for large projects by Clients- Regular auditing is done.

- Auditing Report results adjusted in next R.A bill of the contractor- Most effective but cost implication of consultancy to Client is high.
