FXPRIMUS VPS Mobile Access Instructions

Part I. Choosing the Application

The application required to access the VPS on a Mobile device is called a VNC client. Listed below are the supported devices/platforms that can access the VPS on mobile devices. Feel free to contact our customer support for any specific Mobile Device if it is not listed here.

1 IPhone™ You can install the following VNC Clients from the Apple App Store

3 Google™ Android™

This application is available at the Google Marketplace as well. Search for “androidvnc-viewer” and it would be listed. The following popular phones are supported: Samsung Behold II™, HTC Hero™, Motorola Cliq™, Motorola Droid™, T-Mobile My-Touch™, T-Mobile™ G1™, Google Nexus™ and other Android Phones.

4 RIM™ Blackberry™

This is a third-party application made for the Blackberry phones. It is also available on the blackberry app store for the versions which support the app store. The following blackberry models are supported: 8300 Curve™, 8900 Curve™, 9000 Bold™, 9500 Storm™, 9630 Tour™ and other supported phones.

Part II. Post-Installation

After the application downloads on your mobile device, On a computer navigate to “Manage this VPS” then select “Mobile Access”. This is required because every VPS has unique credentials. If there are multiple VPSs on your account, you will need to repeat this step for each VPS.

Note: The user credentials are different via a Computer and the Mobile Portal. These settings can be saved as profiles on the mobile device.
