Beginning Right Angle Weave Instructor: Leslie Ciechanowski $45

In this introduction to flat right angle weave, we will practice turning and changing rows whileworking on a right angle weave square. The structural nature of this weave allows for lots ofpossibilities for necklaces, bracelets and pendants. Being one of the most popular stitches, thisis the ideal class to start you on the road to bead weaving.

Beginning Pearl Knotting Instructor: Melissa Gillette $25

Learn to knot beautiful necklaces reminiscent of your mother’s pearl necklace. Then add amodern twist to this classic design to create a piece uniquely your own. Learn the basics of beading with a loom. We’ll learn how to set up various looms, how to graphout a simple pattern, how to weave on the loom and then what can be done with the piece afterremoving it from the loom. Beginning Herringbone Stitch Instructor: Melissa Gillette $45

Learn the basics of the herringbone stitch to make a great flat bracelet. Then learn how to turn itinto a round tube for an attractive bracelet or necklace. Use various sizes of seed beads andbugles for a unique and different look. Herringbone stitch is also known as Ndebele stitch, namedfor the South African tribe that originated it.

Spiral rope is an elegant, easy-to-learn stitch that can be embellished as little or as much as youlike. In this class, we’ll make a bracelet combining seed beads with your choice of crystals, firepolished beads, pearls or a mix of accent beads. Create your own variations with differentpatterns of beads. Spiral rope is an ideal introduction to seed bead weaving. Most students willfinish the bracelet in class.

Using seed beads in a variety of sizes and shapes, you'll create an organic cuff with a rich textureand sculptural shape. Now you can use basic soldering techniques to make fabulous pendants for your handmadejewelry! Learn how to encase an image between two pieces of glass and use solder to hold themtogether. Than add a jump ring to make it into a wearable pendant. The required kit fee includestwo glass pieces, lead-free solder, flux and foil. All you need to bring is an image that you want tocapture and your own sense of creative style!

Learn to work with Ice Resin, a non-toxic jeweler's grade resin that gives you endless possibilitiesfor your jewelry designs! Pour the resin into a bezel setting, silicone mold, or even use it overpaper. You can use tons of different images and materials in your Ice Resin that will be sure to getyour creativity running wild! You will be able to carefully take your piece with you after class orcome back the next day to pick it up.

Master the techniques,and then unleash your creativity - this class will give you time for both!

With a handful of crystals and some skillful manipulation of wire you will craft this dazzlingnecklace. Capture and wear one of spring’s most elegant flowers, the Trillium. Form an armature from asingle piece of wire and finish with a no-flip bail. Working with a combination of pliers and othertools, shape a detailed structure, form a center cluster and weave in beads for color.
