Mount Washington Valley Promotionswill present our 3rd Annual VolunteerRecognition Event on September 30, 2012at the Grand Summit Hotel in Bartlett. Wewill honor volunteers who have madesignificant contributions to their chosennon-profit organizations and the MountWashington Valley as a whole.Participating organizations, and individuals,are asked to solicit nominations from thepublic, their membership and boardmembers and select a recipient from thosenominations received. When theorganization has selected a recipient, thatperson’s nomination form and reasons forselection will be forwarded to ValleyPromotions. A separate board will reviewall nominations and select one “Volunteerof the Year” for the Mount WashingtonValley.

Plans are still being finalized and sponsors

are being sought. Our goal is to makethis an affordable evening for all who areinterested in participating. Thenomination fee for each individual orteam will be $15.00 to defray the costsof awards and refreshments. Attendeesmay purchase tickets for $5.00 perperson.

* Healthy Relationships TreeDisplay: North Conway HannafordSupermarket. A creative display thatuses a tree metaphor to discuss theparts of a healthy community andoffers passersby the opportunity tooffer a thought about creating acommunity that works to end violence.
