Package Details
Tasty, well presented food is regarded as highly important to the
Talloula team, and our kitchen is managed by Executive Chef Bheki
Wilson Msomi, a locally born and bred 1000 Hills chef. Bheki
trained at the Chantecler School of Food and Wine and has a 13
year career of gastronomic achievements behind him, including
time at Makaranga Lodge and Aubergine, both in the Upper
Highway area.
Inventive, and always keen to add his own twist to any dish, Bheki
admits his personal mealtime favourite has a distinct European
viewpoint. Italian food being his best, with a colourful mix of rich
textures and interesting aromas.
The Talloula team of ‘Concept Chefs’ encourage clients to bring
their own tastes and themes to the drawing board when arranging a
function.
Pancake Bars, S’mores Bars, Ice cream Bars and Dessert Buffets
are a highlight on the Talloula menu and should not be missed !
Dinner Menu packages start from R395 per person (including
post ceremony canapes)
All prices include VAT. A service fee of 15% for waitrons and bar
staff is payable on all catering.
Each guest table is assigned one waitron, who is responsible for
servicing those guests for the entire evening. High importance is
placed on the security of your, and your guest’s valuables. All staff
are searched at the end of their shift and we have security cameras
in all strategic places for your peace of mind.
Menus
The Talloula décor team provide all on site flower and
décor requirements for the Talloula Venue, thereby
providing a valuable one-stop service to it’s clients, and
saving on additional travelling, setup and breakdown
expenses.
The Talloula Décor team are passionate about flowers and
love weddings in particular! We take colour, texture and
unexpected elements of surprise to create unforgettable
weddings and celebrations. Taking careful note of our clients
dreams and desires, we work with energy and enthusiasm to
turn them into reality.
We have a reputation for exceeding our client’s expectations
and will always go the extra mile to create breath-taking
moments and cherished memories.

Flowers, Décorand Bridal Bouquets
The Talloula Suites provide comfortable
accommodation to wedding and conference
guests alike. Each Suite accommodates two
guests in Queen beds dressed in crisp 100%
percale cotton linen.
All suites are decorated in a fresh quirky way,
each in it’s own style, with quality finishes which
include tea/coffee trays.
Talloula Suites are offered on a bed and breakfast
basis, where guests enjoy a delicious breakfast at
Treat Café any time after 8.15 am and before
11.30am.
Rates Single – R645 per person
Sharing – R595 per person

Accommodation
Garden Spa
Our Garden Spa offers overnight, full and half
day packages providing decadent Spa
experiences in our tented Treehouse or indoor
treatment rooms.
With delightful extras, this is the perfect spoil for
a bridal party staying over the night before a
wedding or simply for bride and groom to take
time out. A full body massage for bride and
groom is included in our Wedding Package and
can be taken at any time.
Our Spa Menu includes Mani and Pedi
Treatments as well.

Terms and Conditions
Deposit
A deposit of R20 000 is payable within 48 hours of making a booking. Should the deposit not be received during this time, it
will be assumed that you no longer wish to proceed with the booking and the date will be released.This deposit should be
paid by electronic bank transfer. No credit card or cash payments are permitted. The booking is confirmed once the Terms
and Conditions have been acknowledged and the Booking Form is completed. Sunday and Public Holiday venue rates are
increased by an additional R7 500.
Damage Deposit
A refundable damage deposit of R2 000 (up to 150 guests) / R5 500 (more than 150 guests) is charged to allow for any
breakages or losses of whatever nature including glasses, burns or wax to table linen etc. This will be refunded to the client
once these items have been checked. You will be liable for any other damage to Talloula property caused by you/your guests
or suppliers, of whatever nature.
Risk, Loss or Damage
Talloula will not be held responsible for damage or loss of property of any guest/supplier whilst on their premises.
Final payment
Final payment of venue hire, flowers and catering is required 30 days prior to the wedding. Only electronic bank transfers are
permitted, no credit card or cash payments will be accepted. A refundable overtime deposit of R3 500 is payable with the 30
day payment . An additional fee of R500 per day will be levied on all overdue payments.
Menu
Menu’s and menu prices must be confirmed in writing 30 days prior to the event. There is a 15% service fee levied on all
catering for waitrons and bar staff.
Confirmation of final numbers
Confirmation of final numbers is required 14 days prior to the event. Should the numbers change within the last 14 days,
Talloula reserves the right to charge for the original number booked. You are reminded to make allowance for any service
providers such as photographers when confirming final numbers.
Flowers, Décor and Bridal Bouquets
Our on-site floral specialists provide all floral and décor requirements for the Talloula venue, thereby providing a valuable one-
stop service and saving additional traveling, setup and breakdown expenses. Brides are welcome to include their own
personal touches wherever required. Our team are happy to work to a specific budget.
Bar
All bar expenses are to be paid prior to departure by credit card. No exceptions will be permitted. Talloula will not be
responsible for any guest who does not agree with the bill presented at the end of the evening. Corkage (750 ml) at R40 per
bottle on the first 20 bottles of wine and champagne is permitted. R50 per bottle applies in excess of 20 bottles. Magnum
bottles attract corkage of R100 per bottle.
Open Bar
In the event that you wish to operate an open bar (with or without limit) Talloula undertakes to provide a regular sub-total
to a nominated person in order to keep track of expenses.
Cash Bar
In the event of a cash bar operating, guests will be responsible for immediate payment of drinks either by credit card or
cash. Drinks allocated to the main account are to be settled at the end of the function prior to departure by credit card. A
list of required drinks, along with wine choices, will be confirmed prior to the function, and should be received by Talloula
in writing 30 days prior to the event.
PLEASE NOTE
At no time are guests permitted to bring drinks or food, or consume part thereof, anywhere on the Talloula
property. Contravention of this requirement by any person will result in the respective parties being asked to
leave the premises, and the remaining deposits will be forfeited in light thereof. It is the responsibility of the
Bride and Groom to ensure all guests and suppliers are notified of this condition in advance and comply
accordingly.
Cancellation / Postponement
Due to the nature of our business and the fact that weddings are booked well in advance, please find below our
cancellation / postponement policy:
Notice of cancellation up to 7 months prior to the wedding : 50% of deposit refunded
Notice of cancellation between 6 – 3 months prior to the wedding : 25% of deposit refunded
Notice of cancellation from within 3 months of the wedding : No refund of the deposit will be made
Cancellations / postponements are to be made in writing and should reach Talloula within the specified time frames
above.
Generator Hire
A charge of R500 per hour will be levied in the event of the Generator having to be used, for whatever reason.
Function Times
Due to local by-laws, music in the venue is to be switched off at midnight.
An overtime rate of R3 500 per hour or part thereof, will be levied for any guests remaining on the property after
midnight.
Kindly note that should the wedding begin later than 30 minutes after the agreed starting time, a surcharge of R1 200
per hour or part thereof will be charged.
VAT
Where applicable, prices quoted above, are exclusive of VAT.
