• Store in dry and airy rooms.• Protect against possibility of shifting during transport.
A-2 Product application
The extraction arms are designed to capture air impurities at their source. This allows the user to extract / filter air impurities before
they enter the user’s breathing zone. Use of the self-locking external joints, flexible hoses at the joints, and a 360o grab handle
around the hood makes positioning of the equipment smooth and user-friendly.
Some of the fume arm applications: welding processes, grinding, polishing, cutting, soldering, chemical fumes and many more.
Manufacturer does not recommend the use of the fume arms to exhaust air from dust with aggressive or explosive properties. The temperature of captured gases should not exceed 80°C.Contact your representative in order to choose an alternate configuration or other type of suction arm.
A-3 Equipment arrival
Upon arrival the user needs to thoroughly inspect the equipment and make sure there was no damage caused by the shipping carrier. If there is damage, the user needs to immediately contact their dealer.

D-1 Maintenance
D-2 Troubleshooting
DAILY: • cleaning the inside of hood and the
outer of sleeve.• control of self-locking arms and
hood.• visual inspections if hoses.
MONTHLY: • grease the swivel base with bearing
grease (make sure the grease will not react with aluminum).
• check joints and fiction washers.
YEARLY: • remove hoses and clean inside of
the arm.• replace the protective glass (for a set
of mod A).
Symptoms Possible reasons Solution
Wrong adjusted arm. Loose screws at the joints. Adjust the joints.
Resistance in rotating arm. Lack of sufficient quantities of grease rotating in the socket.
Inject grease through grease nipple located on the rotating seat.
Reducing efficiency. Closed throttle.. Open the throttle.
Contaminated ventilation duct. Check tube capacity. Remove embedded in the objects.
Leaky hose connection. Check hose clams for hoses and other flexible seal.
Damaged hose. Replace the tube segment.
A properly adjusted arm stays in position. The joints should be adjusted with use ofspanners listed below.
