    GSI

    The revolutionary GOMACO Smoothness Indicator (GSI)provides smoothness readings for wet or cured concreteand asphalt slabs.

    The GSI is a non-contact surface smoothness instrumentthat is so versatile it provides multi-application usage. The

    user-friendly GSI system is very simple to understand andoperate.

    Provides immediate data to make on-the-go adjustments,to assure maximum smoothness results.

    The GSI can commence tracing from a stopped position.This allows readings from the header without pre-roll

    calibration. Both sonic and slope sensors are mounted to the machine

    frame for reading smoothness data of up to eight traces.

    Checks sub-grade to obtain maximum yields anddetermines its accuracy before paving.

    GSI can be used to check the accuracy of stringline setup

    before the actual paving takes place.

    Operates off stringline or a stringless guidance system.

    The GSI has a hydraulic vertical adjustment of457 millimeters and will accommodate slab heights up to711 millimeters.

    Optional 1.5 meter or 2.4 meter telescoping frame. The GSI automated steering capability guarantees thehighest repeatability and accuracy in the industry.

    GSI units can be mounted directly on the back of thepaving pan for instant readings of the paved surface.

    T/C-400 and

    width adjustments from 7.32 meters to 17.07 meters.Optional power transition adjuster hydraulically adjustsfor crown heights.

    GOMACOs texturing/curing machines provide increasedefciency on any project where the surface of the slabrequires texturing and application of curing compound.

    The T/C-400 has a variable speed up to 47 meters perminute. The T/C-600 has a variable speed up to 30 metersper minute and with the optional two-speed, the high-range track speed is 54 meters per minute.

    Central operator station and power supply provideshydraulic control from one location. Electronic-over-hydraulic forward and reverse steering and grade controlis sensored off same stringline as the paver, providing easeof operation and accuracy in texturing and curing of theslab.

    Curing assembly includes a 946.4 liter reservoir withhydraulic motor, pump, and controls. The spray bar hasnozzles spaced 305 millimeters apart and 457 millimeters

    Self-contained hydraulic console with easy-to-operatecontrols. It features an automated grade and steeringcontrol system.

    Operational speed is variable up to six meters per minuteand travel speed is variable up to 18 meters per minute.

    Equipped with two gear-driven, hydraulically poweredcrawler tracks, 3.5 meters long and a track pad width of400 millimeters.

    The CF-790 will accommodate slopes from 4:1 to 1:1.

    The CF-790 has two 254 millimeter diameter singlecylinder nishing carriages, equipped with mounted orindependent augers.

    Externally vibrated undercarriages or trimmingundercarriages are available as needed.

    The CF-790 can be equipped with frame-mountedslipforms with adjustable framework across the rear ofthe slipforms for controlling the nished slab width andproviding a datum to hand nish the top cap.

    The frame has welded steel tubular lattice-type upperstructure with end-car mounted crawler tracks. The sub-frame is made up of welded high strength steel lattice

    panels, with pin-connected sections providing fast setuptime and the versatility for frame widths up to 22 meters.

    The bottom frame can be partially disassembled, and theremaining slope frames, along with the nishing carriages,can be winched up under the upper structure for ease inmoving in and out of canals and for transporting from one

    project to another.

    SL-750

    The C-750 provides high-production results with one-passnishing widths up to 47.6 meters, without overhead trussassembly required. The C-750 is designed for bridge decksand at slabs and the SL-750 for slope and canal nishing.Pin-connected sections provide fast setup time and theversatility to t exact job requirements with frame widthsranging from 4.9 meters to 48.8 meters.

    Frame transition extensions in the center of the frameprovide increased strength for widths over 36.6 metersup to 48.8 meters. The frame transition extensions areavailable in 2.4 meter, 3.7 meter and 4.9 meter lengths,

    1.6 meter width, and 1.52 meter depth. Automatic advance allows the machine to automatically

    advance to any pre-set distance at the end of each carriagepass.

    The C-750 features a 1041 millimeter wheelbase. Thelarger bogie drive motors are geared down to allow for

    continuous creeping advance. Automatic self-widening will automatically control the

    carriage travel distance through the use of proximityswitches for widening or tapering of decks.

    Operator enhanced monitoring of machine functions withpanel-mounted bogie and carriage circuit pressure gauges,

    hydraulic oil temperature gauge, circuit test, and hourmeter gauges.

    The console and operators platform is designed to bepositioned anywhere within the framework sectionsproviding excellent operator visibility.

    Urethane coated wheels with removable anges for

    multiple applications are available. Power transition adjuster (PTA) is hydraulically operatedfor on-the-go grade elevation changes.

    C-650-F

    The C-650-S and C-650-F are ideal for nishing citystreets, highways, building slabs, parking lots, airport apronsand almost any concrete slab.

    The C-650-S and C-650-F have a self-contained hydraulicconsole with easy-to-operate controls. The C-650-S is aslipform cylinder nisher and is equipped with one set ofslipform assemblies, depth to customer specications. TheC-650-F is a form riding cylinder nisher.

    Finishing widths up to 15.54 meters with either theC-650-S or C-650-F. Finishing is accomplished with two254 millimeter diameter, 1219 millimeter long cylinders.

    Carriage speed is variable to 51.76 meters per minute.Augers are 254 millimeters in diameter and the nishingpan is 635 millimeters by 559 millimeters.

    All-welded steel, pin-connected sections provide fast setuptime and the versatility to t exact job requirements forframe widths up to 17.07 meters.

    C-650-S has two gear-driven crawler tracks, hydraulically

    powered, 3.35 meters long and 300 millimeters wide.Operating speed of eight meters per minute.

    C-650-F has two hydraulically driven bogies and twoidler bogies with 83 millimeter wide double-anged bogiewheels. Operating speed of 13 meters per minute.

    The C-450 nisher is designed for nishing bridge decks,streets, or nearly any at slab project. Strict tolerances ofless than 3.2 millimeters in 3.66 meters are achieved whilenishing high-slump or low-slump concrete.

    Frame width for the C-450 and SL-450 with transitionframe is a minimum of 3.66 meters to a maximum of

    31.7 meters, and nishing width is from 2.74 meters to amaximum of 30.78 meters. Frame width for both machineswithout the transition frame is 3.66 meters to23.16 meters and nishing width is 2.74 meters to22.25 meters.

    Finishing is accomplished with a 254 millimeter diameter,

    1219 millimeter long cylinder. Independent hydraulic drive on each end of the unit

    provides variable speeds up to 9.41 meters per minute.

    End panel drive, standard on both the C-450 and SL-450,is positioned at either end of the frame, designed for easein controlling travel speed and direction of the carriage.

    Carriage speed is variable to 48 meters per minute. Augersare 254 millimeters in diameter and the nishing pan is635 millimeters by 559 millimeters.
