FULL-WAVEFORM SONIC WITH DENSITYWhen full-waveform sonic and density are combined such as in this example log it can be possible to extract geotechnical properties such as elastic moduli. Semblance analysis is used to assess both
compressional and shearwave velocities. These are combined with a compensated bulk density log to produce logs of mechanical properties.
