Tim Spratto, General Manager
Tim Spratto is general manager for BAE Systems Jacksonville Ship Repair and is responsible for overseeing the entire Jacksonville Ship Repair organization. Tim joined the company in 2016 as a program manager, where he led many successful multi-million dollar ship repair projects. He was the shipyard’s Director of Operations before assuming leadership of the company in 2020.
Hendrik Basynya, Program Manager – Commercial and Yacht
Hendrik Basynya is the commercial and yacht program manager for BAE Systems Jacksonville Ship Repair. Hendrik brings over 20 years of experience from the merchant marine and yachting industry. He has sailed as a marine engineer and master on a wide variety of vessels, and holds a STCW Master Mariner and Second Engineer’s License. Hendrik has led multiple complex international ship repair projects.

Eric Prior, Manager – Strategic Operations & Commercial Programs
Eric Prior is the strategic operations and commercial programs manager for BAE Systems Jacksonville Ship Repair and is responsible for the site’s yacht and commercial ship repair business. Eric has 30 years of experience in the maritime industry. He began his career as a naval architect with yacht and commercial design firms. Eric has been a leader for the shipyard’s yacht and commercial ship repair business since 2002.

Brandon Byers, Superintendent – Commercial and Yacht
Brandon Byers is the superintendent of commercial and yacht work at BAE Systems Jacksonville Ship Repair, where he oversees the production and repair efforts. Prior to joining the company, Brandon sailed on offshore supply and research vessels as chief engineer, and holds an unlimited STCW Chief Engineers License. He also worked ashore as a service engineer on marine engines and propulsion systems.
