XG2000C airflow is front to rear (in the port side and out the power supply side) – a good practice for typical rack installations

However, many customers want to reverse mount the switch with the port side facing the back of the rack Airflow would then be going against the natural air flow of the cabinet

Fujitsu has created a new model, the XG2000CR, by reverse mounting the switch fans to accommodate good air flow and the customers mounting preference. System level airflow is still front to back even with reversed mounting

Fujitsu re-certified the new switch model (UL/CSA, FCC, etc.) A DC Power Supply model is targeted for release in CQ4’08
