1. FuelShield Fuel Shield is an independent fuel pump control system to manage private and internal fuel stations and tankers. With Fuel Shield, fleet managers can effectively track fuel dispensing and fuel consumption. Based on locally available vehicle and driver identification data, this computerized system controls the refueling of vehicles via GPRS, GSM, Wi-Fi, RF or LAN communications.

Fuel Shield systems offer two refueling scenarios based on the order of driver and vehicle identification. Available options include manually recording odometer, engine hour and project number. It is also possible to automatically record odometer and engine hour data using SCI's Mile Shield device. Additional options include fuel depot delivery and management.

The Fuel Shield is available in two models, Fuel Shield 2005, for single nozzle control, or Fuel Shield 2010 to simultaneously control up to two nozzles. Each model fully supports Fuel Shield peripherals, including a numeric key pad, card reader, and Dallas iButton.

Fuel Shield seamlessly integrates with additional SCI software and hardware products to improve fleet performance and reduce down time through accurate preventive maintenance.

c. Technical Information

i. Hardware Components Pump Control Unit The Pump Control Unit is installed on each fuel pump, and independently

controls each pump hose. It collects vehicle data from the Vehicle Identification Unit via the Hose Control Unit. Communication between the Pump Control Unit and the fuel management software takes place at the completion of each transaction.

Hose Control Unit Designed for installation in petroleum product environments, the Hose Control Unit is installed on each fuel nozzle. The Hose Control Unit detects the insertion of the fuel nozzle into vehicles equipped with the Vehicle Identification Unit. Removal of the nozzle immediately terminates fuel flow.

Vehicle Identification Unit The Vehicle Identification Unit is installed on each authorized vehicle. It consists of a built-in pre-programmed computer chip with a unique ID number, eliminating the need for a costly programming unit. The Hose Control Unit transmits the vehicle ID to the Pump Control Unit via RF communication before obtain authorization to dispense fuel.

RFID Reception Antenna An RFID reception antenna is installed at each fueling station office RFID Transmission Antenna An RFID transmission antenna is installed inside the Pump Control Unit

ii. Software Integration Fuel Management Software The WinFuel Management Software is a network savvy,

Microsoft®Windows® based program with LAN and WAN capabilities. The program compiles the information gathered during refueling transactions via the RFID antenna to generate a comprehensive range of reports.

Web Shield Web Shield is an advanced Web-based application to display and manage data compiled from SCI's fleet and fuel management products.

Hardware Integration FuelShield seamlessly integrates with SCI's FuelShield and MileShield product lines to provide end-to-end fleet and fuel management solutions based on comprehensive vehicle, driver, mileage and fuel consumption data analysis and reports.

SCI’s RFID Wireless Fuel Management System allows you to track individual drivers and vehicles, fuel dispensing, odometer readings, and assists in preventive maintenance reports... all with NO human intervention.

• SCI’s advanced vehicle identification unit: • Eliminates the unauthorized dispensing of fuel. • Limits the amount of dispensed fuel per vehicle and driver. • Require no power • It’s easy to install • Self destruct mechanism with any tampering attempt

The advanced RFID system is easy to install and requires no excavation. SCI's RF Technology eliminates the need for vulnerable underground cables and wiring, which reduces installation time by 80%. The system installation can be done by your on-site technicians or ours.

The RFID Fuel Pump Control Unit controls each pump hose independently. It collects the vehicle data from the Vehicle Identification Unit via the Hose Control Unit. Communication between the RF Fuel Pump Control Unit and the Fuel Management Computer occurs at the completion of each transaction. The vehicle and operation authorization lists can be updated from the Fuel Management Computer to the Pump Control Unit utilizing the radio frequency network.

The Fuel Shield Pump Control Unit is designed in a manner that allows replacement with a new Unit in thirty minutes or less. It is designed in such a way that in the event of a failure, the operator can fully recover and extract stored fuel transactions without the need to ship the RF Fuel Pump Control Unit to the manufacturer.

Vehicle Identification Unit

The Vehicle Identification Unit is a device that is installed on each authorized vehicle, and has a pre-programmed chip with a unique ID number, eliminating the need for a costly programming unit. Whenever the fuel hose is inserted into the vehicle, the Hose Control Unit transmits the vehicle ID to the

Pump Control Unit via wireless communication to obtain authorization before allowing fuel to be dispensed.

Hose Control Unit

The Hose Control Unit is a compact device built to withstand any environmental condition common to petroleum handling equipment. It is designed for direct attachment to the hose nozzle in a manner that will not interfere with the dispensing of fuel. The Hose Control Unit is installed on each B individual pump and detects the insertion of the fuel nozzle into the fuel inlet of a vehicle equipped with a Vehicle Identification Unit. The removal of the nozzle from the vehicle: fuel inlet immediately terminates fuel flow.

Hardware

• A Pump Control Unit (PCU) is installed on each fuel pump. • A Hose Control Unit is installed on each fuel nozzle. • A Vehicle Identification Unit (VIU) is installed on each authorized vehicle. • RF Receiving Antenna is installed at each fuel location office. • RF Transmitting Antenna is installed inside the Pump Control Unit.

2. LevelShield Level Tank Monitoring Solution

b. System Operation Level Shield’s sensor sits at the bottom of the tank; the liquid above it causes pressure. Information is then converted to level information in our data base. The information is transmitted via GPRS in pre-determined intervals of time or automatically upon a low level alarm.

Some of the most common alerts are:

• Low level • Valve opening • Temperature alert

c. Security Level Shield uses submersible level sensors approved by UL/cUL913 (CSA 157) Class I Div 1, Groups C and D for use in intrinsically safe areas with an approved barrier. For pressure ranges from 0-2.5 to 0-100 PSI that require a wide range of media compatibility.

Level Shield sensors are completely sealed for submersion, yet vented through the cable to correct for barometric pressure changes. The welded housing is tested in-house via a helium leak tester to ensure
