The tests of La Maria Mine in Sonora gave results of

29% in reduction of emissions, 45% in opacity and

13.8% to 14.6% in savings of fuel

• On the 14th to the 20th of December 2007 tests were carried out with Centron in the Mine Maria in Sonora Mexico

• Trucks tested were CAT 630E

• During the test 6.387 liters of fuel in a total of 144 working hours, were consumed

Summary Results For La Maria Mine Test

• The unit 26 consumed 6387 liters in 6 days of test

• Assuming the same daily consumption, the average annual consumption would be 328 thousand liters.

• The annual cost of the fuel by unit is $190,000 (58.8 cents per liter).

• 29% reduction in harmful exhaust emissions

• 45% reduction in opacity (Black Smoke)

• 14.6% decrease in fuel consumption

• A savings of 14.6% represents annual fuel savings of $2.6 Million for La Maria Mine
