About us

We are Shia Asna Ashri Muslims, followers of

Ahlulbayt A.S. – ladies, gents, old and

young , from different ethnicity living in

different parts of Essex and East London.

We have come together to form a single

community now known as Muslim

Community of Essex.

PRESENT PROGRAMS CONDUCTED AT THE CENTRE

• Thursday night Dua e Kumail program and lectures in English

• Saturday night Dua e Joshan Kabeer circle

• Sunday breakfast club (Urdu) and Duas from Sahifa e Kamila / Nehaj ul Balagha

• Bi-weekly Understanding Quran Lectures on Sundays

• Regular lectures in Urdu, Swahili, Arabic and as per demand

• Private religious/ community programs

• Wednesday Table tennis club and Munajat Ameerul Momineen

• Weekly MCE medical centre on Saturdays

• Mid-week Quran Madressa for Children

PREMISES LIMITATIONS

• Currently Alhamdulillah the numbers have exceeded the limited capacity due to the growing popularity

• Future and some existing programs require more space to be run smoothly• No main hall for ladies• Limited facilities of wudhu, washrooms and kitchen

• Friday Congregational Prayers

• Eid Congregational Prayers

• Muharram Majalis• Weddings• And much more

To run an Islamic centre that provides intra and interfaith

activities for all ages and backgrounds

OUR CURRENT SITUATION• The building purchased on 14th March 2011 is functional, but with limitations due

to lack of size • To function fully we will need to purchase the adjacent building which is currently

on offer. In total we require £350,000..This opportunity will not repeat and requires urgent attention!
