• The barcode, which is a legal requirement, is located at the bottom right hand corner of the front cover, the reason for this is so that the magazine uses as much space as possible so it doesn’t leave any blank spots, also as mention it is a legal requirement so it must be included.

• The cover line is used so that the audience can identify what the image is about and its meaning. It is positioned at the top of the CVI which hints that it is about the CVI.

• The CVI is a medium close up, this is a common camera shot on front covers, this is because a medium close up is more appropriate for front cover images.
