PTA President’s Message

Dear ARK Community, Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful winter break.  I would like to start with a huge thank you to Katie Gibson and Micheline Eakins for running the Secret Shop in December. Our students had a wonderful time picking out special gifts for their family and friends.  Also, thank you to Stephanie Cruse and Laura Whiteman for organizing a delightful holiday luncheon for our teachers and staff. Villa Barone provided a delicious meal, and many ARK families contributed drinks, salads and desserts. The teachers and staff were very grateful. Another thank you goes to our room parents, who organized fun holiday parties for the children before break. The kids had a great time. We have a lot to look forward to in January. The first PTA meeting of 2017 will be held on January 12th  at 7pm. Please mark your calendars to attend. There will be an ISC skating party on January 11th, and the Winter Concert, starring our bands, orchestras and chorus, will be held on January 20th.  The show for the parents is at 2pm.   Our 5th graders are hosting a magician night on January 27th.  This is sure to be a fun, family night as well as a great way to support our 5th grade class.   The planning for our Winter Carnival is well underway.  The carnival is planned for February 11th and will be a great time as always. I hope you all have a very happy and healthy new year. Please feel free to contact me if you have any PTA questions, comments or concerns. Stay tuned for Board positions that will be open for next year. Warm regards, Deborah SolomonsPTA President

Lost and Found

ISC Skating PartyWednesday, January 11 from 6-8pm

Join us at the International Sports Centre on Kresson Road in Cherry Hill for an evening of skating and fun for all ARK families! Student admission is $6 and includes skate rental and admission to the Fun Zone. Adults are admitted free of charge and can rent skates for a nominal fee.

Important Note:  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  If you have any questions, please contact Linda Peterson at fellpeterson@gmail.com.

Please remember to write your child’s name in any jackets, sweatshirts or other clothing items that make their way to school.  

If your child loses a piece of clothing, please check our Lost & Found located in the APR.
