Scheduled, individual Confessions are authorized to resume effective June 1. I am scheduling some additional times this week to help with the backlog. Please note these additional opportunities this coming week for Confession: Tuesday, June 2: 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (before the daily Mass) Wednesday, June 3: 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (after the daily Mass) Thursday, June 4: 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (after the daily Mass) Friday, June 5: 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (during 1st Friday Holy Hour) Saturday, June 6: 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. (before the 1st Saturday Mass) 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (as normal) Please note that due to my schedule, Confessions MUST end on time. If you are unable to make it into the confessional on a given day by the scheduled end time that day, you will have to return on another day, or you may schedule an individual appointment with me. I strongly urge everyone not to wait until the last minute. There will also be additional times for Confession scheduled next week, which will be announced in next weekend's bulletin. General Absolution: the Bishop has extended his permission to grant General Absolution at the weekend Masses (and only the weekend Masses) through June 14 (Corpus Christi). General Absolution will NOT be offered at weekday Masses, effective June 1. This Friday is the first Friday of June -- the Holy Hour with Exposition and Benediction resumes, following the 8:00 a.m. Mass. This Saturday is the first Saturday of June -- the first Saturday Mass, which will be a Traditional Latin Mass, resumes at 9:00 a.m. Congratulations to our RCIA Candidates and Catechumens who are being received into the Church at the Vigil of Pentecost, Saturday, May 30, at the 5:00 p.m. Mass! LABORS OF LOVE Many thanks from the parish for all the volunteer hours and efforts spent on weeding the shrubbery/flower beds and parking lot islands, and also for the ongoing attention to our beautiful prayer garden, especially during the “shutdown” weeks. Be sure to take a look around the church grounds as you leave Mass today.
MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FOR LOAN The church has some medical equipment such as walkers, canes, wheel chairs, a knee scooter, etc. available for parishioners to borrow — for a day, a week, a month, or however long you might have need of it. Ask an usher for an immediate need during Mass, or call the church office for more information.
