ODOT approved the Categorical Exclusion
Environmental Commitments include:
• DBT will develop a Site specific health and
safety plan for possibility of encountering
natural gas
• DBT will develop a SWPPP and submit a NOI
under NPDES construction storm water

Amtrak (Permit to Enter obtained for
geotechnical borings; seeking Air-Rights)
GCRTA (Waterfront Line) – Safety Procedures,

Standard Rail Flagging Procedures to be

Design – Status of Railroads
• DBT will submit final construction plans
• DBT will obtain Railroad’s Flagging Services
• DBT will submit ROW application, scope of
work, schedule and insurance requirements
• Work will not commence on railroad ROW until
an executed construction agreement is
received

• Permit for MOT impacts to the Shoreway
submitted to ODOT (based on permitted
lane closures)
• DBT to present MOT plan to ODOT if full
closure of the Shoreway is requested
• DBT will likely need MOT plan and
permit for Erieside Ave from Cleveland

FAA/BKL:
• Notice of Actual Construction must be
filed within 5 days after construction
reaches its greatest height
• Separate notice will need to be filed if
the construction equipment used will
exceed 174 feet above ground level.
