CFHLA will be collecting

NEW Sneakers for more than

10,000 Homeless Students in the Central Florida area to receive as

Gifts this Holiday Season.

**NOTE: All sizes, for ages 4 - 19 are needed and will be accepted.**

The final collection for 2017 is set to occur in conjunction with the

2017 CFHLA Hospitality Gala

Saturday, December 16th, at 6PM

Hyatt Regency Orlando.

Please consider donating a NEW PAIR of Sneakers to "drop-off" at the Hospitality Gala Official Collection Site

SCHOLARSHIPS

In 2018, the CFHLA Foundation will again offer

Scholarship Opportunities for the

dependents of full-time, hourly, non-managerial employees

of CFHLA Lodging Member Properties and Allied Member Companies.

For your information:

TEN $2,000 scholarships are available for Lodging Member Properties

and

TWO $2,000 scholarships are available for Allied Member Companies.

All Scholarships will be awarded at the

Golden Pineapple Awards Dinner.

TEACH-IN DAY

Last week on Wednesday, November 15, CFHLA Lodging and Allied Members

participated in the annual

Teach-In Day with their

Adopt-A-School Partners.

The Alfond Inn at Rollins presented to three classrooms at

Hungerford Elementary. The students wore chef hats and prepared parfaits with

Chef Jack Henderson.

Premier Elevator Co., Inc. visited with

Walker Middle School.

Embassy Suites Orlando - International Drive / Convention Center

had a great day at

Magnolia School.

Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort

held a cupcake decorating action station for the students at

Sand Lake Elementary.

Sheraton Vistana Villages were welcomed at

Freedom Middle School for their Teach-In.
