Hello Sorors!
Thank you sorors, for allowing me to serve as a delegate at the 87th South Eastern Regional
Conference. I was able to attend the Protocol and Programs workshops and gained valuable
information that I intend to share with our chapter. Lambda Eta Omega continues to make an
impact in Etowah County by hosting activities related to our five target initiatives. On March 30,
2019, Soror Charleena Walker and Soror Belinda Graham made presentations on Finance and
Health at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church’s annual “Call to Duty Workshop 2019”. Each of the
target committees are planning more activities that will allow us to serve our community in many
ways. There is much more to do so please continue to support our international program
committee on Impact Days and the additional events we have scheduled for 2019.
Global Impact Day is this Friday April 12, 2019. We will be collecting shoes from 8-10am at Dr.
Sabrina Morgan-Graves’ office. She is located at 304 S 4th Street Gadsden, Al. Please
encourage your family and friends to donate gently worn shoes on this day. Also, if you will,
please wear pink on Friday when you go to donate so that we can take pictures. We will also
collect both shoes and eye glasses on Saturday at our chapter meeting, please remember to bring
those if you are unable to drop off on Friday. We have made 19 Pillowcase dresses! Thank you
so much Soror Turk and Soror White. This is an ongoing project. Please reach out to someone
on the Global Impact Committee if you need patterns for the dresses or the shirts. Again, I want
to thank you all for everything you do to make our chapter successful.
