MITSUBISHI CITY MULTI Variable Refrigerant Flow Zoning (VRFZ) systems are the quiet solution for cooling and heating opportunities in the United States and around the world. Through cross-functional engineering, Mitsubishi produces technologically advanced products with innovative features, such as efficient motors, controls, and INVERTER driven compressors and micro-processors, which vary the speed of the compressors in outdoor units to meet the changing load requirements in each indoor zone. The resulting applied efficiency is unmatched, and provides optimal comfort conditioningwithout wasting energy.

Mitsubishi has the most complete product line up for all residential and commercial applications. To ensure total comfort for the occupants of offices, schools, hospitals, assisted-living facilities, hotels and more, each zone of the CITY MULTI system has its own indoor unit or group of indoor units, which precisely control the indoor temperature with minimum energy usage. Each individual user can set their own desired comfort level, and relax.

Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating is the leading manufacturer of intelligent comfort technology.

Mitsubishi Electric’s wide selection of indoor unit styles allow you to choose the size that meets any requirement. Users may choose from wall-mounted, ceiling-recessed, ceiling-suspended, floor-standing exposed, floor standing concealed, and ducted models to create the perfect system for any application:

• CITY MULTI systems with up to 2,000 zones can be precisely controlled through a single-networked PC using Mitsubishi’s reliable, high-speed communication bus, M-NET or managed through local controls.CITI MULTI can also be integrated into existing Building Management systems through BACnet, Lonworks or Crestron interfaces.

• CITY MULTI VRFZ systems provide architects, engineers and designers with the flexibility to customize countless application designs, and numerous opportunities to attain Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) points in the areas of Energy, Atmosphere and Indoor Air Quality.

• S-SERIES (SINGLE-PHASE HEAT PUMP) Perfect for light commercial or large residential applications, the CITY MULTI S-Series is a single phase system that can provide heating and cooling for up to eight individual zones. They are available in either 36,000 or 48,000 Btu/h.

• W-SERIES WR2, WY (HEAT RECOVERY AND HEAT PUMP) W-Series units combine the convenience of water source systems with VRFZ technology. These units are easily installed indoors, which means that system performance efficiency is independent of outdoor ambient temperatures. Utilizing the same indoor evaporators as the air cooled systems, W-Series systems are quieter than water source heat pumps and offer increased zoning options. The W-Series includes WR2 heat recovery units for simultaneous coolingand heating, and powerful heat pump WY models.

R2-SERIES (HEAT RECOVERY): Mitsubishi’s innovative R2 air cooled heat recovery systems provide simultaneous heating and cooling by recycling unused energy from other zones through the use of a digital electronic branch controller (“BC Controller”). Recovering unused energy results in less work from the outdoor unit, maximizing energy savings. The R2 Series outdoor units’ new modular design features a compact chassis, smaller installation footprint, low operating sound, easy piping and maintenance, and a lightweight design. They are available in both 208/230V and 460Vto meet varying application needs.

Y-SERIES (HEAT PUMP): Cooling or heating up to 50 individual zones,Y-Series units maximize building design options, and are available in both 208/230V and 460V.Their modular design features many of the same advantages as the R-Series, including a compact chassis, smaller installation footprint, low operating sound, easy piping and maintenance, and alightweight design.

HYPER HEATING INVERTER (H2i)Y-SERIES (HEAT PUMP): H2i Series units combine the ultimate in application flexibility with powerful cooling and heating capabilities to deliver precise comfort control to multiple zones within a building. Competitors’ conventional air cooled heat pumps cannot match the energy efficiency achieved by the H2i Hyperheat pumps, which provide 100% of the rated heat capacity at 5ºF outdoor ambient temperature. Even in the coldest climates, H2i is the perfect choice for year-round comfort.
