Have Your Antiques Appraised

on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Across from RiteAid at ShoppingTown Mall

Allan Storinge of the Syracuse Antique Exchange will be on hand to appraise your treasures.

1 item verbally appraised for $3.00

or 2 items verbally appraised for $5.00.

First come, first served.

Appraisal fee on the day of this event is your admission and supports the Friends of the DeWitt

Community Library. Light refreshments served.

Please note: The owner is responsible for any loss or damage to items brought for appraisal.

Photos of large or fragile items may be brought instead.

Our Special Thanks to Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. and ShoppingTown Mall for their support.

The DeWitt Community Library’s Senior Fair is bigger and better this year. More than 50 exhibitors

from area organizations, agencies, and businesses will be on hand to share information about their

services and programs for Seniors. Free screenings for blood pressure, hearing, and spine will be

offered, and Seniors may attend lectures in the Library on topics of interest to them. The exhibitors

are scheduled to be in the main corridor (2nd Floor) of ShoppingTown Mall with an informational/

greeting booth in the JCPenney's Court.

in honor of the recipient will be placed in a new library

book. You can specify the general subject and library staff

will select new materials based on library need.

This summer, the DCL Friends sponsored 7 Special

Family Events to promote the summer reading pro-

gram. The Friends also sponsored a program on “Green

Beret Medic, Vietnam and Life Afterword” and on

“From Small Ale to Big Lager: Changing the American

Palate, 1880—1960.” The DCL Friends purchased video

equipment to be used for future programs, including

the Library’s memory book and the teen video projects.

Thanks to those who have joined or renewed their
