Predeceased by first husband Robin (Bob) Mason and her later companion Harold Pearson. She will be much missed by daughters Jacqueline Mason (Alex), Jane Mason (Tony), Mary Mason, and Robin Hale (Jeff), grandchildren Sarah Hees, Charlene Roche, Ian Small, and Nick and Calvin Hale. In England, her sister Alison Tovell (Steve), brother Captain John Wale (Jocelyn) and their daughter Alison May (Nick and children Sam and Alex). Rosemary's early British military life was spent growing up in India, Egypt and Northern Ireland. During WWII, she served as a nurse in the Q.A.I.M.S. (Unit 94), seeing service in North Africa. After the war, she was stationed in Germany and then went on to take nursing contracts in Abadan (Persia) and Durban (South Africa). Immigrating to Canada in 1956 with her husband and young family, she involved herself with family life and the Anglican Church, also volunteering for many years with Oakville Trafalgar Hospital. We will miss the many stories of her life, her love of history, geography and politics, and the lively discussions that ensued. Celebration at Church of The Epiphany, 141 Bronte Road, Oakville was held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2011. FELTMATE, Gordon Leslie November 27, 1922-January 19, 2011 Passed away peacefully in his 88th year, surrounded by his family on January 19th, 2011 at the William Osler Memorial Hospital, Brampton. Beloved husband to Minnie for over 60 years. Cherished father to Juanita Read (Justin), Miles Feltmate (Karen), Donna McNamee (David) and Blair Feltmate (Gaynor). Loving Grandfather of Michelle Barbarita (Mike), Alissa MacDonald (Tyler), Tyler Feltmate (Filomena), Erik, Karl and Jake Feltmate, Breanne and Kyle McNamee, Nathan and Adam Feltmate. Born in Goshen Nova Scotia, the second eldest of seven brothers, Gord spent 4 years in the RCAF, stationed in Yarmouth Nova Scotia as a Navigation Trainer. He later moved to Ontario and joined Litton Systems Canada in Rexdale and for 27 years, headed their Production Division. The family would like to thank the staff of the William Osler Memorial Hospital for their very kind support and care. MASON, Rosemary Elizabeth (neeWale)Born in Manchester U.K. July 12, 1921, Rosemary left us peacefully on January 16, 2011 in Stratford, ON, her f o u r d a u g h t e r s a t h e r s i d e . Predeceased by first husband Robin (Bob) Mason and her later companion Harold Pearson. She will be much missed by daughters Jacquel ine Mason (Alex), Jane Mason (Tony), Mary Mason, and Robin Hale (Jeff), grandchildren Sarah Hees, Charlene Roche, Ian Small, and Nick and Calvin Hale. In England, her sister Alison Tovell (Steve), brother Captain John Wale (Jocelyn) and their daughter Alison May (Nick and children Sam and Alex). Rosemary's early British military life was spent growing up in India, Egypt and Northern Ireland. During WWII, she served as a nurse in the Q.A. I .M.S. (Uni t 94) , seeing service in North Africa. After the war, she was stationed in Germany and then went on to take nursing contracts in Abadan (Persia) and Durban (South Africa). Immigrating to Canada in 1956 with her husband and young family, she involved herself with family life and the Anglican Church, also volunteering for many years with Oakville Trafalgar Hospital. We will miss the many stories of her life, her love of history, geography and politics, and the lively discussions that ensued. He later moved to Ontario and joined Litton Systems Canada in Rexdale and fo r 27 years , headed the i r Production Division.
