Student Innovation Workshop Thursday, January 31, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. | AGH Meeting Room
Over the past 20 years we have lived through multiple rounds of disruptive innovation – the results of which have become so ingrained in our lives that we may no longer notice or consider these events as remarkable. Most of you have not lived without Amazon or Apple or Uber . . .which were once unimaginable. How did this happen? And more importantly, where are the places we will see disruption next?
Mark Bach ’78, a leader in organizational transformation and innovation in the private sector, has traveled from Tokyo to Northfield to discuss his work in innovation. We will work in small groups to think about areas ripe for disruption and how we might imagine the next round of change. BIG PRIZE TO THE WINNING GROUP! Students from all backgrounds are encouraged to participate. True innovation requires a diversity of perspectives and experiences, drawing on unique understandings of how to make sense of situations and approach problems. RSVP on the Tunnel. Dinner will be provided.
