WHATJoin a live online broadcast and make history by being part of Australia’s biggest child safety lesson. Bruce and Denise Morcombe will share strategies for students in year 3 to 6 to help promote safety. How to Recognise, React and Report unsafe situations will be included. A guide for teachers will be available on our website, please download this prior to the lesson.

Are you red, Red, Ready?Thank you for registering to participate in Day for Daniel 2017!

Day for Daniel is Australia's largest child safety awareness and education day. Our goal is to make Australia a safe place for all children. Follow three easy steps and you will be red, Red, Ready.

Daniel wore a red t-shirt on the day he went missing. The colour red has since become the colour of child safety for the Foundation. Wear red, decorate your school or business in red or have a red morning tea. We have included a few balloons and bunting flags to help.

Join Australia’s Biggest Child Safety Lesson broadcast online with Bruce and Denise Morcombe. Visit our website and complete our Keeping Kids Safe videos and activities. If you are a business, help promote our free child safety resources. Note: No DVD or USB will be sent this year as a part of the resource kit - all resources are available on our website.

2. Following the DVD, ask children to write down a safety message that they remember in the T-Shirt

3. Have children read out their message to the class/group

4. Children can then colour in the T Shirt, cut it out and take it home
