How to Configure SMTP for VMS?
To provide email base notification to the user whenever voice mail is received on user extension and memory usage notification of VMS to the user.

Prerequisites for SMTP Configuration:
VMS Card into the ETERNITY System
Valid Email ID and E-mail Server must support the SMTP feature
Internet access to VMS card of ETERNITY

Configuration Steps: Step1: Configure the IP details in the VMS card as provided by the network administrator for internet access.
Step2: Configure the SMTP Settings in VMS Configuration
Click for SMTP Test
Step3: Configure System Engineer’s E-mail ID for Memory Usage Notification

Important Notes:
E-mail with attachment having size more than 4.8 MB (5 minutes) will be sent without an attachment
In Email sending, when mail sending fails after 3 trials, the application will discard this sending request and start sending new E-mail
