With the introduction to the yacht and briefing accomplished shortly after getting settled into your cabin, we’ll get to know each other over a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres then take a short stroll to a local restaurant for dinner.

Ta h a aKnown as the ‘Vanilla Island’ due to the ever-present aroma, Taha’a produces most of French Polynesia’s vanilla. It is arguably the best vanilla in the world. We’ll take a tour of a local vanilla plantation and learn how the famous spice is harvested and produced. Remember to pick up a package of beans and extract for cooking at home!

While we’re here, we’ll learn about the precious gem the ocean provides too! Locals on island also produce an incredibly high-quality pearl and are happy to share with visitors the process of implanting and extracting the precious gem.
