CURRICULUM GUIDE French 3 and 3 Honors LAYFO9 / LAYF11 Course Description This course focuses on all language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students build on the level of proficiency in each of these skills already acquired with increased emphasis on reading and writing. Class work includes paired and group activities to practice new vocabulary and grammar structures both orally and in writing as well as listening activities in class and in the language laboratory. Cultural topics focus both on France and Francophone countries around the world. This course prepares students for French 4 and 4 Honors. French 3 and 3 Honors LAYFO9 / LAYF11

Course Description This course focuses on all language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students build on the level of proficiency in each of these skills already acquired with increased emphasis on reading and writing. Class work includes paired and group activities to practice new vocabulary and grammar structures both orally and in writing as well as listening activities in class and in the language laboratory. Cultural topics focus both on France and Francophone countries around the world. This course prepares students for French 4 and 4 Honors.
