Dear Partners & Friends,

As I write this month’s Partner Letter, Joni & I are in Israel. I hope you got to see the two live broadcasts that we did from Daystar’s Jerusalem Studio. Our special guests were: Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, Pastors Larry & Tiz Huch, and Barry Segal.

I am excited to report that your Daystar was on TV in the major hotels in Israel while we were here!

And, as promised, I took all of the names of our precious partners who pledged during the last two Sharathons, and placed them in the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem where prayer goes up 24 hours a day. (By the way, they don’t destroy the prayer requests, but eventually bury them there.)

How exciting that Daystar has entered into a Program Supply Agreement with the largest Christian Television Network in Canada. It is called Grace Television. Please pray that people will give to help this network grow and reach the great country of Canada.

Can you believe that we are now in the second half of 2013? Time is passing by so quickly!

July 28 – Potential Church in Miami – for Pastor Troy Gramling

Here is a great praise report. While the country of Thailand is Buddhist, the largest cable company in the country has asked to start carrying Daystar this month across the entire nation! What a miracle!!!

Thank you so much, for your faithfulness this month! It means so much to Joni & me. But more importantly it means so much to God, who is watching, and to souls around the world. May the Lord bless you greatly for keeping your commitment to Him…

It is safe to say that a lack of social values and morals can weaken the freedom of any individual or society. When we dare to dream of a better future for ourselves, our families, and our nation, we find God has granted the means to become truly free. A personal relationship with Jesus through sacrifice, brokenness, and humility is a healthy path that leads to complete and lasting freedom. Every day can be Independence Day for those who have the hunger and courage to seek God.

As His children we find freedom from the law of sin and death as we approach and spend quality time at the throne of grace (Rom. 8:2). Today, look beyond the clouds, and as much as it is possible for you, beyond your personal storms of life, see the One who can bring freedom to your heart, mind and soul. The supernatural strength of freedom which Christ gives is resistant to the gross immorality and insolence of heart and soul we see all around. If you are bound by a controlling habit or addiction today, remember dear friend, this

vicious cycle can be broken only when a deeper impetus for change is wedded to the legitimate desire for genuine happiness that is found in the freedom of a Christ-centered relationship. Freedom is a life style of liberty granted to all who enter the Door of God’s Kingdom (Jn. 10:9). Freedom – and all that it is-- can be yours. Seek God, seek all that He has for you, and freedom will be birthed in you; you will be as free as the butterfly that was once held captive by a cocoon. See John 8:36.

It’s hard to believe that the 2013 Refreshing Times

Conference is only four months away. We are getting

excited about this year’s conference, and can’t wait

to see all of you there! I am also excited to share that

Dr. Kenneth Ulmer will be our first speaker during the

Thursday night session of the conference. Dr. Ulmer is

the Senior Pastor-Teacher of Faithful Central Bible Church

in Inglewood, CA., and is passionate about realizing

and obeying God’s will for his life, as well as continually

pursuing biblically based knowledge. Besides pastoring

a large church, he has also authored several books,

and is a founding board member and former president

of King’s University in Los Angeles, CA. He, along

with Jimmy Evans, Marilyn Hickey, Marcus Lamb and

It’s at the core of who we are as Americans.Freedom. Liberty. Independence. The underpinnings of our constitutional republic. It’s what our Founding Fathers fought and died for. It’s at the very center of our way of life. At the American Center for Law and Justice, we are dedicated to preserving and protecting freedom. It’s what we do. In the courts, in Congress, and in the public arena, the ACLJ is at the forefront of defending freedom and liberty. Over the past quarter of a century, the ACLJ has experienced tremendous success in courts from coast-to-coast - including the U.S. Supreme Court. I have been privileged

to successfully argue precedent-setting cases before the Supreme Court: Protecting the free speech rights of pro-life demonstrators. Safeguarding the constitutional rights of religious groups to have equal access to public facilities. Ensuring that public school students could form and participate in religious organizations, including Bible clubs, on campus. Guaranteeing that minors could participate in the political process by protecting their free speech rights in the political setting. In addition to our religious liberties work, we also focus on constitutional law involving many significant issues that include national security, human life, judicial nominations, and protecting patriotic expression such as our National Motto and the Pledge of Allegiance. One of the critical issues we are currently involved with includes the defense of freedom for conservative groups that have been unlawfully targeted by the Internal Revenue Service. We represent dozens of Tea Party and conservative organizations - groups that have been singled out by the IRS and punished for their ideological views. We have filed a federal lawsuit to protect the free speech and freedom of association rights of these organizations. And, over the years, our work has expanded globally. With affiliated offices in Israel, Russia, Kenya, France, Pakistan, South Korea, and Zimbabwe, we are uniquely positioned in the fight to preserve freedom of speech, religious freedom, and human rights around the world.

We are working in this country and around the world to secure the freedom of American Pastor Saeed Abedini, a U.S. citizen who is imprisoned in Iran because of his Christian faith. We represent Pastor Saeed’s wife, Naghmeh, and two young children, who reside in the United States. Pastor Saeed has been sentenced to eight years in Iran’s notorious Evin Prison. He faces grave danger and continues to be beaten and tortured. We are working with members of Congress, the U.S. government - including U.S. Secretary of State Kerry’s office - as well as the United Nations Human Rights Council to put pressure on Iran to free this American pastor, who is facing life-threatening conditions simply because he refuses to recant his faith in Jesus Christ. We are tremendously blessed to be able to be on the front lines when it comes to defending freedom. And through the prayers and support of many of you, we remain dedicated to protecting freedom and liberty as challenges unfold. As the saying goes, “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.” At the ACLJ, we remain vigilant and determined to protect freedom and liberty.
