7. Sew rows together to make quilt center. BORDER ASSEMBLY:8. Sew (2) C 1 ½" x WOF strips together at short ends. Sew to the left side of quilt center. Repeat and sew to right side of quilt center. Press and trim both borders even with top and bottom of quilt.

9. Repeat step 8 and sew to top and bottom of quilt center. Press and trim both borders even with quilt sides.

FINISHING Cut batting and backing 3" larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind as usual. Note: If this Benartex pattern is included in a kit, any questions about the kit should be addressed to the vendor from whom you bought it.

Half Log Cabin units1. Sew (1) C 5½” square to (1) D 5½” square, to make CD set. Press.

2. With C square on right,sew (1) B 5½” x 10½” pieceto top of CD set. Label BCD set.

3. Sew (1) E 5½” x 10½” piece to leftside of BCD set, keeping C square inlower right corner. Label EBCD set.

4. Sew (1) A 15½” x 5½” piece to top of EBCD set, keeping E strip onleft side of set to complete Half LogCabin block.

5. Repeat steps 1-4 to make (20)Half Log Cabin blocks.

QUILT ASSEMBLY:6. Sew (4) Half Log Cabin blocks together in (5) rows. Refer to diagram for rotation of each block.
