2Are you doing the same things they did? What steps did they take to mitigate the problem? Can you implement any of those steps, too?
3Form a Compliance Committee
3Utilize various people in the organization to find new ideas.
Keep track of the meetings and what was discussed.
4Write a statement of commitment
4Write a statement of your company’s commitment to the privacy and security of client information. List any steps you are currently taking.
5Check into those you hire
5Call references. Do a Google search. Document that you did these checks in their personnel file.
