Construction Safety and HealthAwareness Day

This is one of a series of free trade specific partnership

events run by the industry for the industry, as part

of the UK-wide Working Well Together (WWT)

campaign.

The aim is not only to raise awareness of key health and

safety issues facing the construction industry specific to

your trade, but also to give practical advice on how to

avoid risks on construction sites.

If you have a small building, construction or

contracting company, or if you are self-employed

and have involvement with Roof Works then this free

event is a must.

This event is aimed at large and small construction companies particularly those

involved in work such as refurbishments, structural alterations as well as general

building.

The event will feature Various Presentations from leading industry experts on:

◆ Temporary works

◆ Asbestos awareness and management

◆ Working at Height To include safe access methods on/near fragile roofs to

include solar panel installation/maintenance - safe use of MEWPS and also

rescue planning management

◆ Occupational health

There will be plenty of opportunities for networking and asking questions about

the subjects raised. Also in attendance will be H&S and training professionals who

would be happy to discuss any issues with delegates.

By Road - From the NorthExit at M25 Junction 1A immediately after the toll booths. Follow the signs for Erith, crossing the motorway and then straight over at the next roundabout. Drive straight ahead along the dual carriageway towards Erith and turn right at the first roundabout into Marsh Street North. Take the first exit at the roundabout into Brunel Way. Continue down Brunel Way and SusCon is on your left.

By Road - From the SouthExit at M25 Junction 1A directly before the toll crossing and take the first exit at the roundabout towards Erith. Drive straight ahead along the dual carriageway then turn right at the next roundabout into Marsh Street North. Take the first exit at the roundabout into Brunel Way Continue down Brunel Way and SusCon is on your left.
