Ines will be followed by the Ziloka band with an original and spicy Gwoka show of dance, singing and drumming. This scheme is aimed at students who are aged between 20 and 35, who have completed at least two years of higher education in modern languages by the time they take up their post and who have a working knowledge of the French language. This new branch of the French public agency, Campus France, is based in Dublin and offers personalised assistance to Irish students who wish to study in France. RÉMI BRAGUE, UNIVERSITIES OF MUNICH AND PARIS SORBONNE 12 MARCH 2013 This lecture will compare the different understandings of philosophy which the three monotheistic religions developed in the Middle Ages. Professor Rémi Brague is a Trinity Long Room Hub Visiting Research Fellow and is Professor of Arabic and Religious Philosophy at the Sorbonne. He has been honored by the French National Centre for Scientific Research and is a member of the Institut de France, Academy of Moral and Political Science. He received the Josef-Pieper Preis in 2009, the Grand prix de philosophie de l’Académie Française in 2009, the Ratzinger Prize in Theology in 2012, and has been made Chevalier de l’Ordre National de la Légion d’honneur in 2013. Taking over from the Allons en France contest, it mainly focuses on the human rights matters, the theme of this year being : « The Human Rights in the XXIrst century, getting committed for tomorrow ». The Cultural Service will select a young Irish citizen from 18 to 25 of age, with a good proficiency in French (B1 level required), to participate in a 10 days cultural stay in France, from July 6th to July 16th, all inclusive.
