L.I.S.C. is a joint ventme of the Bruno Kessler Foundation (FBK) and of the University of Trento. The mission of the laboratory is to investigate a wide range of complex physical sys­tems, by combining different approaches and backgrounds in theoretical and computational physics. The laboratory bears the strong imprinting of my interdisciplinary formation and research, gathering groups working in con­densed matter physics, nuclear physics, high energy physics and statistica! mechanics.
