Design and build any type of bridge you wish that is at least 30cm long and across two objects off the ground, such as two chairs. Design your bridge to withstand as much weight as you can. Consider the materials you have selected (cardboard, toothpicks, tape, wood etc), size, design and purpose. Once you have built your bridge, conduct a test by placing items on top of your bridge. Can you think of a way to measure exactly how much weight it can hold before it breaks? If so, how? Draw and label a diagram of your bridge in your workbook or include a photo if you can. How

Board Game:

Design a board game for you and your families to play. The game must be maths based but you can be as creative as you like! Make a list of

game you created yesterday.

Volunteer to cook a meal or bake something for your family that requires you to follow a recipe. Ensure you are measuring all ingredients carefully, following instructions correctly and keeping track of the time when cooking etc.

Record your recipe into your workbook and include a photo (if possible) or a drawing of the finished product.

Once you have tasted your creation, describe how it tasted in your book as well.
