‘FRAMED’
British 2012
Director: Mary Seagul
Certificate: 12A
After her earlier film release, Mary Seagulis is back with a psychological thriller, Framed, which gets all parents thinking what would happen if they were framed for their child’s murder, would they stay or run? Leon (Chris Abbott) has been framed for his daughter Emily’s (Freya Appley) murder. All he wants to do is get away from everyone and his own mind by running away As Leon finds his peace haven in a quiet location on his own, he confides in himself and turns to the bottle. With lots of false paths and enigmas brought to the audience, you can’t take your eyes off the screen. But with the scenes of drinking in public places this could lead to teenagers to bad behaviour with the BBFC certificate at a 12A. With clear and crisp cinematography of
both the location and Leon this contrasts
with the dull, low tone soundtrack.
The strong storyline of family and what’s
most important in a family life is clearly
shown in this meaningful thriller. With the
strong emotions of how much children
mean to their parents and if anything
happens they got to extremes to get them
back.
Overall this film is a must see with
wonderful scenes of love between
children and their parents and
determination to find who killed his
daughter.
