RococoThe Rococo Style began as a style

of decoration in France in the 1700’s.

The Rococo style is marked by the use of lots of mirrors and gold.

It is playful, showy, and luxurious. Some things to notice about

Rococo design:– The use of light colors and

light-feeling furniture; there is nothing “heavy” in this room.

– The features in the room are really flat against the walls.

– There are a lot of straight lines in the room design.

– The use of lots of gold

The decorations are meant to be light and playful, creating the perfect room for a fancy party.

What do you think of this room?

Would you like to live here?

Would you like to go to a party here?
