EN: This list is published as a complement to the F airtrade Standards for Herbs, Herbal Teas and Spice s for Small Producer Organizations and for Herbs an d Herbal Teas for Hired Labour (available on the FLO website), wh ich should be consulted for more information. All products listed below can be sold as Fairtrade by Small Producer Organizations. Additionally, Hire d Labour companies can sell fresh and dried herbal products as Fairtrade, which are listed as "HL and SPO" below. The following restriction applies to the use of dri ed herbs only: Dried herbs grown by Hired Labour co mpanies are only allowable for tea products. There is no restriction on the use of fresh herbs.The species or part of the plant that is used can m ake a difference in scope and in product category. Some products can also fall into other Fairtrade pr oduct categories, such as vegetables, fibre crops or bouquet flowers. In these cases, the Fairtrade Standard for the res pective product category applies and the product ca nnot be certified as an herb, herbal tea or spice.
