Alan Wilson Insurance Brokers was formed in 1984 when Alan Wilson purchased a small insurance business in Traralgon known as Gippsland Insurance Service.

This business was located at 47 Franklin Street Traralgon and employed 1 person. Over the next 25 years the business has expanded greatly and now employs 15 people and is one of the largest insurance brokerages in country Victoria. In 2012, Alan Wilson was named the Inaugural winner of the NIBA Broker of the Year Award.

Alan Wilson Insurance Brokers are professional insurance brokers registered with the Federal Government and are subject to strict guidelines. We are members of the National Insurance Brokers Association, Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and the Steadfast Group Limited.

In 2005 in conjunction with Fire Protection Association Australia, we specially designed innovative insurance policies for those in the FPA Australia Corporate Members and provided covers that are not normally available in the insurance market. In addition to the FPA Australia supporting the insurance scheme, it was approved by the ACCC.
