Fourth Grade Post Reminders! Classes still need parent volunteers for the Overnight Field Trip to Petaluma Adobe. Please reach out to your class’ room parents for more information/volunteer. Reminder- There will be no class this Friday, November 10 th for Veteran’s Day. We encourage students to do at least 45 minutes of Dreambox a week outside of class to help reinforce and build fluency in math skills. This allows students to get practice in areas we may not be covering in a current unit, but where a student may need specific support. Its game based, iPad app compatible if you have one, and teachers can see how students are progressing and where in class we can build in more differentiated support. Our next upcoming field trip will be Monday, November 13 th to the Festival of South African Dance at Zellerman Hall, UC Berkeley. We will need drivers! We will leave at 9:30, and be back by 1:00/1:30. Another upcoming field trip will be Tuesday, November 28 th to the Kule Loklo at Point Reyes. We will need drivers ! Mrs. Schmidt’s Class and ½ of Ms. Thompson’s class will leave school at 8:45am and return by 12:30pm. Ms. Carrade’s Class and ½ of Ms. Thompson’s class will leave at 10:15am and return by 2:00pm. Look out for an e-mail from your child’s room parent to sign up (and to see which time slot your child is in if they are in Ms. Thompson’s class). To get a glimpse into the wonderful world of 4 th Grade, check out our private class instagrams. You won’t be able to see any of the pictures unless you request to “follow.” Ms. Carrade’s : ms.carrade Mrs. Schmidt : mrs.schmidtwca Ms. Thompson : ms.thompsonwca
