What is Fourth Friday?Born out of the 2013 Downtown Renaissance Planning and Visioning Program, the Fourth Friday Concert Series aims to bring folks in from all over North Georgia to enjoy a summer evening full of great local music and friendly fellowship. We’ve partnered with the Throttle Jockies, a local car club, and they graciously display classic cars for everyone to admire. And of course, as the staple of any true Southern gathering, there’s food.
We’re in our second year of hosting Fourth Friday concerts. More than 300 people attended each concert last year. We’re determined to continue growing in those numbers!
We also want to make this event beneficial to our Historic Downtown. We’re working with our Main Street merchants to make Fourth Friday a networking tool they can use to grow their customer base by offering special sales and extending their hours of operation during the summer concerts.
Why should I donate?Simply stated: It’s people like you that make these events happen. It’s a true community effort and any donation is appreciated. We have three investment levels that we would love for you to consider. Take a look through this packet to learn more about them, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call.
I need more information before I can commit. Who can I call?The Fourth Friday committee is made up of local residents, all with one goal: to make this summer series an annual success.
