1. Xuan Kong Da Gua

Course Syllabus:
64 Hexagrams:(4 days) You will be taken through a deep insightful study of the 64 Hexagrams, the most basic element of any Metaphysical Study, which will help you break down the 360 degrees of the Luopan into 64 meaningful sectors thereby adding a further dimension to your knowledge. Did you know: Each of the 24 mountains cover 2 and a half hexagrams so even if you use Advanced 8 mansions, and pick the right sub-sector of the trigram, you could still be using hit and miss method, as one or more of the 3 possible hexagrams in that 24 mountains sub sector could be unusable, and even is a usable mountain, there are usable and unusable degrees? This is what makes the difference in your results. Concept of Yin and Yang: In Xuan Kong Da Gua this is different, and very critical to know. Hexagram Groupings:Different sets and styles of grouping of Hexagrams with specific uses and applications. Connecting land-formations:From the outside to the inside, and combining with date selection and seeing its relevance to Yi Jing, this is an important facet of the subject. Real-Life Application Methods with Case studies:Telling you how to actually apply Xuan Kong Da Gua using whatever little you have, in a fail proof method, that is simple and practical. You will not go home with an armful of “formulas” with no clue how to apply, instead you will be given templates that you simply place over your floor plan and mark positions. Of course you will be taught how to make those templates yourself. Concept of “water” and “mountain”:Understand once and for all what qualifies “water” and “mountain” and where it can be placed and what constitutes a Xuan Kong Da Gua compliant water /mountain feature. Learn how to place water and other “stimulation features” to get your Xuan Kong Da Gua going.Blind application:Can’t get an accurate reading? Don’t have access to a Luopan? You can still do something, you learnt it here first!
2. Life palace Assessment
Monday 28 To Tuesday 29 April 2014 Life Palace Assessment (2 days)
Course Syllabus:
What’s your Gua?A fun but accurate way to chart out a persons characteristic traits and predictable reactions to a situation based on their Ming Gua, you will also learn how people typically react to one another based on their individual Ming Guas. We use this information to further see how they react to different properties based on the property’s orientation and flying star chart.
Basic Revision of Flying Stars:Just in case you are rusty, a reminder of how to fly and use the flying star system which will form the basis of the Life Palace Assessment system. Sherry Merchant’s system is a bit different, she ignores the 81 combinations (finds them too generic) and teaches you how to derive your own accurate assessment of different star combinations and interactions and how to accurately assess their outcome.
Annual & Monthly Flying stars:Look at how to construct your own Annual and Monthly Flying Star charts each year. You will be taught how to dynamically assess a flying star chart by overlaying the Annual and Monthly charts over the Natal Chart and layering in other factors to get a new insightful and deadly accurate reading. Judging the house: Use the flying Stars of the house to see how each person based on their Ming Gua will relate to the house chart. This is a great way to select a house just in case you are not able to view it yourself.
Prediction:Use the flying star chart to predict accurately the potential and events likely to take place in the house.
This is an exciting system and you can use it exclusively to predict anything at all, and answer any question using several methods and approaches including “shifting palace”.
3. 60 Jia Tzi in depth
Thursday 1 May 2014 Date Selection Express (1 day)
Course Syllabus:
This one day workshop is aimed at familiarizing you with the 60 Jia Tzi as individual entities.
You will learn to discriminate between good and bad pillars (yes all are not created equally )
You will learn that each pillar belongs to a grouping and has a potential relationship with each of the other pillars which is pre-destined, and you will learn how to work this out.
Essential learning for each and every BaZi student, after this you will wonder how you ever did without this information.
4. Date Selection Express
Course Syllabus: Date Selection is an integral part of a Feng Shui Practitioners practice. You should not proceed without this handy little tool, as correct date selection is what makes your Feng Shui advice work or backfire.
While a complete Date Selection module with Joey Yap (highly recommended, if you have never taken it) takes 4 days, this express version will see you through.
It covers the most important aspects of Date Selection that you need in your day to day practice, and tells you how to make the maximum use of all the tools available at hand, tong shu, online tools etc.
Whether you want to apply this immediately or plan on doing the more advanced Joey Yap version, this is a good place to begin.
