Foster healing
It takes a special family to foster a child with serious medical conditions. If you have specialized skills in the medical field or experience working with children with special needs, you can provide the loving and caring environment for a special child who needs a consistent and comfortable home in order to start on the path to wellness.
Medically fragile children are in need of life-sustaining medications, treatments, equipment, access to multiple appointments and/or assistance with daily living activities. Some of the children’s disorders can range from short-term and/or curable conditions, to intellectual and developmental disabilities, to more serious, and possibly terminal, illness.
