Exercise Trifecta
• Strength training
• Burst training

Strength Training
• Compound movements
• 20-30 minutes
• 3X/week
• 8 exercises
• 6-15 reps
• 1-3 sets
Burst Training
• Any mode of exercise as long as intense
• 1-3X/week
• 10-20 min/session
• 10-60 second intervals of exertion
• 1:1 to 4:1 ratio rest:work
• 5-15 sets
Active Things You Enjoy
• As much as possible, at least 2X per week• Include sports, hobbies, games etc• Might include:
– Basketball– Karate– Biking– Wii fitness– Disc golf– Yoga– Rock climbing– etc
Make It Social (in-person)
• Don’t exercise alone, do it with a group
• Find others to push and motivate you
• Join a group that is doing what you want to do
• Create technology that allows people to connect with one another in person
