Formatted Query Report

Run control page where you will run the Query.

Publishing the query

By clicking the publish button the user can able to share the run control to another user with the

parameters that he has added to the run control.

Selecting the query

The highlighted prompt helps us to select the query which we need to pass as an input to the

run control.

Description of the queryHighlighted field displays the Description of the field. Since the field is a free form text the user

has an option to edit the predefined text.

Output format

This tool has an option to select one output format that the user needs from the list, it can be

either XLS or PDF.

Summarized output

This check box allows the user to generate the summary version of the report, checking this

check box will generate a summarized report.

Subtitle

This is a Free from text field, provides an option to the user to add a run time title to the report.

Additional Criteria

Additional criteria grid provides an option to pass the run time criteria to the query.

Additional Criteria Operator

The user can select any one operator to the criteria.

Additional Criteria Group criteria

This Group by Left and Right Parenthesis field allows the user to use group criteria.

Additional Criteria Record name

It allows the user to select the record that needs that needs to be passed as additional criteria.

Additional Criteria Field name

It allows the user to select the field that needs that needs to be passed as additional criteria.

Additional Criteria Condition type

This allows the user to select any one condition types from the list provided, based on the list the value

field will react, for instance, if we say between it will have an option to feed in two input values.

Additional Criteria Values

Values are passed as an input to the additional criteria.

End Criteria

End Criteria

RecordIt will display all records that are there in the select clause.

End Criteria Record alias

It will display all records and it alias name that are there in the select clause.

End Criteria Column Heading Text

It will display all fields and it alias name that are there in the select clause.

End Criteria

Column OrderWe can specify the order in which the fields should be printed in the report starting from 1 to 25.

End Criteria Hierarchy

We can specify the hierarchy in which the fields should be processed.

End Criteria Sort Sequence

It is the sequence in which the query the query is sorted.

End Criteria Descending

It generates the data in descending order.

End Criteria Subtotal

This check box is used to add the subtotal to the field

End Criteria Burst by

Burst by is used to burst the report based on each break, the field which has hierarchy as 1 can alone be

used as a burst field.

End Criteria Aggregate Type

This field is used to select the aggregate option, we can select any one of the listed aggregate function

to the fields.

End Criteria Sub-Heading

It allows the user to select the particular field as a sub heading to the report.

Prompt

User has an option to assign the prompt value to the selected query, page will display prompt

only if the user has prompts in it.
