Not having to set the alarm every single morning, being able to take vacations when you want rather than when you can, being able to spoil your loved ones with whatever you want and not with whatever you can afford. As I said before... freedom!

Let me tell you my Forex “story”...

From a very young age I was fascinated with the idea of trading the markets. I loved the idea of trading so much that I can vividly remember back to the early 80's when I placed my first trade.

Probably like you, I wanted to learn everything there was to know about trading but, unlike today, there was very little educational material available.

Trust me - it was tough to learn how to trade back then.

However, there was a flip side to that... although it was tough to learn how to trade properly, there was MUCH less competition in the markets than there is today. That meant it was much easier to find very profitable and unique patterns and strategies.

As time went by, more and more people started trading. There was more educational material, more insight to market behavior, and more understanding, etc.

That meant bad news...

Market patterns and trading methods that worked while there wasn't a

lot of competition didn’t work as well as they did before - it's only natural. The markets back then were not as huge as they are today.

As more traders entered the market, the effect became more and more noticeable.

That just meant you had to try harder to succeed… and that was fine by me. I love challenges!

As time went by, 3 things became very clear and obvious to me:

1. Trading can be VERY profitable but must be done without any human emotions.

2. In order to be amongst the 1% most profitable traders you had to think outside the box. You had to be able to see and think differently to “the herd”.

And 3… but MOST important…

I started devoting a lot of time and effort into learning how to design computer models that could see what the human eye couldn’t. I started taking advantage of the speed and accuracy a computer could

provide in contrast to a human being.

There was an advantage and a disadvantage to that...

The advantage was that I was amongst the very few who started using computer-driven analysis. That meant that I was light years ahead of other traders. While people where busting their butts trying to find profitable patterns and combinations I had my computers handing them to me on a silver platter!
