Course Description:
This course provides the student with materials for understanding the political, economic,
social and cultural dimensions of Reconstruction, the Gilded Age, the Progressive Era, World War I, the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, and through the conclusion of World War II. The purpose of this course is to not only increase student knowledge of these
historical periods but to pass on an appreciation for the sacrifices made by the American people before them, thus deepening their understanding of our Heritage.
