Course Description:

This course provides the student with materials for understanding the political, economic,

social and cultural dimensions of Reconstruction, the Gilded Age, the Progressive Era, World War I, the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, and through the conclusion of World War II. The purpose of this course is to not only increase student knowledge of these

knowledge and concepts at an analysis level. Performance indicates

apprentice level in each outcome specified in the course.

Work provides evidence of knowledge and concept adequate to function

in ensuing learning activities. Errors occur frequently. Able to apply

knowledge and concepts at an analysis level. Performance indicates

acceptable level in each outcome specified in the course.

D

Work provides evidence of basic awareness of content and knowledge

presented. Errors occur frequently. Little evidence of application of

knowledge to other knowledge. Performance indicates poor level in

most outcomes specified in the course.

Work provides sparse evidence of the content knowledge. Gross
